Mobile X-Ray Technologist
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
- Do you have an up-to-date Covid 19 vaccination? (yes)
Overview
We are seeking an X-Ray Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role involves performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, unloading equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities ● Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation ● Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician ● Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation ● Scan exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol ● Regularly communicate with dispatch and management ● Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients ● Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment. Work schedule varies depending on location.
